It wasn't our plan to stay here, but due to car trouble on the way back from our holiday destination, we ended up at Le Colbert. And luckily so, because the staff, and especially the hotel manager, helped us so well to eventually be able to continue on our way home! After being stranded, a beautiful, spacious room was available for us here, where we could stay for 3 days with our young daughter. Contacting emergency services and garages was actually impossible for us because we don't speak French well, but the hotel manager handled all the coordination for us and kept us very well informed. We also received tips to make our time in Chateauroux as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay: a spacious, air-conditioned room with very comfortable bedding and excellent blackout shutters. Special mention goes to the breakfast buffet, which was very varied and featured local products (honeys, cheeses, artisanal spreads, delicious cakes, etc.), and the staff were attentive and enthusiastic. I highly recommend it!
