General terms and conditions of sale

RECITALS

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Special Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the sales contract and must be agreed to in their entirety before any sale is concluded. The booking request implies the acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale and the full and unreserved acceptance of their provisions.

We remind the guest that, in compliance with article L. 121-21-8 12° of the French Consumer Code, they do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 121-21 of the Consumer Code. The Terms and Conditions of Sale for the price booked specify the terms and conditions for cancelling and/or modifying the booking.

ARTICLE 1

Stays are only secured on receipt of payment as follows:
  • For bookings made more than 14 days in advance: 50% deposit + balance paid on site
  • For bookings made less than 14 days in advance: full payment required

The payment can be made using the following methods:
Cash, credit cards (American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Carte Bleue), Tickets restaurants (meal vouchers), ANCV Chèques Vacances (holiday vouchers), Kadéos vouchers.

Payment methods refused: bank cheque and Diners Club card.

The hotel reserves the right to preauthorise the credit card before the check-in date.

Your booking will not be confirmed until all amounts due have been received.
Payment of a deposit implies that you agree to the general terms and conditions of sale.

Visitor’s tax: Our prices do not include visitor’s tax, which is €1.20 per person per night.
  • Prices are quoted in Euros (€).
  • VAT is always included.
  • The prices quoted only include the services specifically mentioned in the booking.
  • Any extra services provided by the hotel owner during the stay will be charged on your bill, and, where applicable, visitor’s tax will be added to the price stated in the booking.
  • The prices applicable are those in force on the day of booking. Only the price quoted on the booking confirmation is binding.

ARTICLE 2

Our hotel rooms are available:
  • Check-in time: from 2.00 pm
  • Check-out time: Before midday (12.00 pm)

ARTICLE 3

We must be informed of any guest cancellation by any available means (telephone, post or e-mail).
  • Guests can cancel free of charge until 4.00 pm the day before they check in.
  • After this time or in the event of a no-show, the room will be billed

ARTICLE 4

If the owner cancels, the guest will be informed by any available means (telephone, post or email) and the deposit or total payment will be refunded in full.

ARTICLE 5

  • Pets are allowed (dogs and cats).
  • The hotel is non-smoking.
  • The hotel has steps and stairs.
  • The hotel can be completely or partly privatised for parties and events.

ARTICLE 6

Food and drinks from outside the hotel are prohibited.

Please note, however, that we provide room service during our restaurant’s opening times.

Guests will have to pay for any damage or pollution they may cause on the premises and for which they are liable.

ARTICLE 7

Guests must agree to respect the comfort, privacy, and peace of all other staying guests, people in the neighbourhood, and the owners at all times.

ARTICLE 8

  • Children under 12 stay free of charge, if they use the available bedding.
  • Children under 2 stay free of charge, if they use cots.
  • Cots are only available on request and must be confirmed by the hotel.
We remind our guests that parents are responsible for their children.

ARTICLE 9

The owner reserves the right to modify the terms at any time, without prior notice. You are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions of sale on making a booking and paying a deposit.

ARTICLE 10

Governing law: any dispute, claim or litigation relating to the terms and conditions for booking one of our services will be governed by French law.

In compliance with the French law dated 6 January 1978 (data protection act), you have a right to access and rectify your personal data. The owner will not transfer the data you have provided to other companies or organisations.

Consumer Mediation

After contacting the reservations service and failing to receive a satisfactory response within a reasonable timeframe, the client may contact the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, whose contact details and procedures for filing a complaint are available on its website: www.mtv.travel.

Opposition to cold calling

In accordance with article L.223-2 of the French Consumer Code, consumers who do not wish to be the subject of commercial canvassing by telephone may, free of charge, register on a telephone canvassing opposition list. This list can be accessed via the following website: www.bloctel.gouv.fr.
